Practical systems, built from real operational problems

Beyond the Inclusion Impact Framework and RAISE Learning, RAISE has designed and built a range of smaller systems, workflows and data tools around school operations, timetabling, MIS and staff wellbeing.

Not every school problem needs a large platform. Sometimes the right answer is a focused system, clearer workflow or better use of existing data.

Operational systems and MIS experience

SharePoint and workflow systems

RAISE has built a whole-school SharePoint platform at a previous school, including sites, lists, permissions and workflows designed around how staff actually work. The same experience feeds into the Inclusion Impact Framework's SharePoint-based workflow layer.

Timetabling and MIS

RAISE brings practical timetable and MIS understanding into systems, workflow and operational improvement projects. This includes three years of direct timetabling responsibility, current hands-on experience with Bromcom in a larger school, and a previous SIMS Administrator role covering reporting, timetabling, admissions and cover supervision.

Data and dashboards

RAISE has also built reporting and visualisation tools that connect fragmented information into a single, usable view for staff.

A staff absence and wellbeing dashboard designed to bring patterns, thresholds and operational indicators into one usable view, separate from the pupil-focused Inclusion Impact Framework. This sits alongside the attendance and inclusion dashboards explored in full on the Inclusion Impact Framework page.

Other systems and tools

RAISE also builds smaller tools and building blocks as part of wider projects, including:

SharePoint lists
Intervention registers
Review logs
Provision tracking
Operational forms

Room and space-availability analysis has also been carried out as a standalone piece of work, arising from a different operational need.

How RAISE approaches focused projects

A focused project follows the same disciplined approach as a larger system, scaled to fit the problem.

Understand

Look at the problem, the people affected and the systems already in place.

Build what fits

Design the smallest system, workflow or data tool that solves the real problem.

Hand it over properly

Document it, train the people using it, and make sure it keeps working without RAISE.

Could a focused system help your school?

Not every project needs a full platform. Discuss what you're dealing with and RAISE will help identify the right-sized solution.
