Inclusion Impact Framework
Attendance insight connected to intervention and impact
The Inclusion Impact Framework is a working attendance and inclusion system designed to help schools move from data to action.
It brings together whole-school insight, pupil-level analysis, prioritisation, intervention, ownership and review in one practical framework.
Implemented in a real secondary-school setting
Built around live school attendance processes
Audited, upgraded and documented
Public demonstration uses fully synthetic data
From attendance data to a prioritised action list
IIF is a working attendance and inclusion system built to solve a common problem: attendance data, intervention records and evidence of impact often sit in separate places, with no clear owner for what happens next.
The operational dashboard identifies pupils needing attention, shows recent attendance movement, applies intervention bands, and brings the information staff need into one working view.
Whole-school oversight
Individual pupil understanding
Attendance patterns
What IIF brings together
Attendance insight
Whole-school, cohort and pupil-level attendance information in one connected model.
Prioritisation
Identify pupils whose attendance is low, declining, volatile or showing a concerning pattern.
Intervention
Support clear actions, intervention bands and recommended next steps.
Ownership and review
Help staff see what needs to happen, who owns it and when it should be reviewed.
Evidence of impact
Compare attendance movement and intervention history over time.
How it works in practice
Every school implementation is different; this reflects the general shape of how IIF connects data to action, not a fixed sequence used identically everywhere.
Connect
Use attendance, pupil and school-calendar data from the MIS.
Identify
Surface whole-school trends, priority pupils and attendance patterns.
Act
Support intervention choices, ownership and recommended next steps.
Review
Track changes, review due dates and emerging concerns.
Evidence
Show whether attendance and intervention patterns are improving over time.
More than a dashboard
The live implementation combines Power BI insight with SharePoint-based intervention and review workflows.
The public demonstration currently showcases the Power BI layer using fictional pupil records and fully synthetic attendance data.
A full implementation may also include intervention registers, review processes, staff guidance, governance and other workflow components designed around the school's existing systems.
RAISE demonstrates IIF using fictional pupil records and fully synthetic attendance data. Guided walkthroughs are available on request. Real pupil information is never published.
Could this help your attendance and inclusion work?
IIF can be adapted around a school's MIS, attendance processes, intervention model and leadership priorities.
